Becoming a millionaire with $1,000 - Early BNB investor makes 1,000x profit

He waited eight years, and now he’s a millionaire: An early BNB investor is making about 1000x his profit. Wallet 0x8503 bought around 999 BNB for less than $1 per coin at the time. BNB has now reached a new all-time high of over $1,000.

This case demonstrates how early trust in blockchain projects can bear enormous rewards – even if such “diamond hands” successes are indeed rare. An early Ethereum investor who invested just $104 in the ICO in 2014 turned it into around $1.5 million – a profit of approximately 14,269 times its original value.

BNB launched in 2017 as the in-house utility token of the crypto exchange Binance, which originally allowed users to pay trading fees at a discount. Since then, the coin has evolved far beyond that: It is the native currency of the BNB Chain, powering smart contracts, DeFi protocols, and NFT applications, and is now one of the largest cryptocurrencies in the world.

From around $300 at the beginning of the year, the token climbed to over $1,000 in less than nine months. This represents an increase of more than 230 percent, significantly stronger than many other altcoins in the same period. BNB is currently trading at nearly $1,000 with a market capitalization of $138 billion.

BNB is tradable on Bitpanda. Users can buy and sell the cryptocurrency there securely and reliably.
